I really dig this drum head. I purchased this as well as a clear controlled sound w/black dot for my admittedly rather cheap snare drum, and when paired with the hazy ambassador snare side head I procured awhile back, both batter side heads sound good enough to make me forget that my snare drum itself is really cut rate, hahaha. But, if pressed to choose, I’d have to say that I think I like this bad boy a little more than the CS head. I feel like it has just a bit more THWACK than the CS, it tunes up super easy, and has a fairly wide range of sounds you can squeeze from it. On the whole, I’m very happy with this product, and would not hesitate to recommend it anyone looking for a new batter side snare head.Thanks for reading, hope the review was useful. Peace.
