I installed the Trackmix+SP last Saturday. I have no problems with the setup, connectivity, video quality, etc, at all. My only issue is I charged the batteries completely prior to installation and once mounted on the house I connected the Solar Panel. It is not charging even though the panel is in complete sun. The green light is not even on much less blinking to indicate it's charging. Have I missed something in the setup that connects the solar panel? Any one got any advice?UPDATE: I have been working with the customer service /Support team at Reolink to get this resolved. After some back and forth with testing steps they replaced the solar panel with a 12w unit. Again some back and forth test and we have got the charging issue resolved. Their support team seemed to really want to get this fixed and went above and beyond what most would have done.

I have 6 Reolink cameras (plug in type) but this is my first battery/solar camera. The camera was easy set up and has a very good picture. I have it mounted on the back fence and it works as advertised. I am very happy with Reolink.

I've bought a lot of different sercurity cameras and several differnt models of Reolink's. These are built well as all of the Reolink's are. The picture quality is outstanding compared to some other Amazon brands. They also don't struggle in cold weather. The tracking systems work great and the zoom features best in class. If the apps and AI worked better, it would be 5 stars. They are a bit of a pain to use and not consistent across the phone app and desktop app. The AI works great for the most part but misses a few things. It thinks people are animals to often. For the cameras that are not hooked to NVR and only use SD cards for storage, it disappointments me that they can't do continuous recording (to be clear, if you play for an NVR you can). I also wish they had a cloud storage option, but they don't.

ReolinkI had issues in the past and Reolink stepped up and has made the issue a priority to get fixed. Yes, they do not have anybody in North America but the response is been very good and they’re making sure that the problem is fixed. I give them four stars.

Long review but WORTH THE READ!!Update 1/23/25: I finally figured out how to view my cameras current version of software, screenshot and sent to person over email. They pushed the update so I was able to see it on my end. I also purchased a Hub to have one main source for my cameras to connect to rather than all separate on my wifi. Then everything worked as it should. I hung them all up.BUT now. First, 2 of my cameras that were working just fine, now are “disconnected” and it’s been -16°F outside, I’m not gonna go out there and take them down to unscrew a cover to turn it off and back on. I have already tried turning my wifi off and on, that didn’t do anything.Second, I told them from the start that the solar panel I received with one of the cameras does not work. The solar panel is on the same exact side of my garage as another cameras panel, only like 3-4ft away from eachother and this cameras won’t stay fully charged and the other one is just fine.So now I have to, yet again.., try to contact someone that won’t toss me through hoops to hopefully just get a new solar panel.. and also figure out why these 2 cameras are now “disconnected”.Original: I started out with 2 of the TrackMix WIFI cameras. I was impressed with how fast and easy they were to hook up, how quick they loaded when viewing away from home, and the quality of the view. I decided to get 2 more of the TrackMix WIFI cameras. And that is when it went downhill. They connected just fine to the app and wifi. But when I hung the cameras and connected the solar panels, they did not work. I took the cameras and solar panels back down, charged the cameras fully with the wall plug provided, and messed with the solar panels and finally got them to connect to the camera. (We’ll see how they connect when I hang them up again…) The next issue I am having is I am not able to view 3/4 cameras when I am away from home…. I contacted Support, they tried to get me to open up my router security to get them to work. I will not do that for multiple reasons. I decided to purchase a Hub. Again, connection was easy. Then it told me 3/4 of the cameras need a firmware update, so I click update and there’s no update available and says they are updated to the latest version… and now I can’t view the cameras at all even when I’m home. This is very VERY frustrating especially because of the money I’ve spent on these things.. I tried to do the manual download of the firmware, well that isn’t working either.. so now I have to wait to hear from Support again.Update: 2/5/25.This customer service SUCKS. They never answer the phone and when I email them, they email me back in the middle of the night so it takes SO LONG to get anywhere with fixing anything. Now, one thing to note about these cameras, the solar panels, sucks. The connectivity, sucks. I have 2 cameras that I cannot have the PIR turned on for because it DRAINS the battery. The solar panel seems to not charge them although it says they are connected.I don’t know how they have these things rigged to do that once you add more than just a couple cameras. One of the cameras affected is one of the first 2 I got and never had issues until I added 2 more cameras. It’s super frustrating I spent this amount of money on 4 TrackMix + Solar Panels AND a hub AND an indoor camera and none of them work all together for longer than a week after I spend WEEKS trying to get them to work.

**EDIT**Reolink has reached out and replaced my solar panel camera with the POE version which has worked flawlessly in the cold. If you’re using this anywhere in Canada expect it not to work in temperatures below 0 Celsius. A+ for customer service but the solar/battery power camera is still garbage. Use the POE version if you want it to work in all temps. Not only that but the solar version misses tons of activity. It appears to go into a standby mode to power save. By the time it actually turns on and records it completely misses the motion event.- - -I feel like I was lied to. This product page misrepresented the product. It doesn’t even work in the cold although it clearly states it works in “Harsh weather”, yeah right that’s a lie. Anything below freezing and the camera becomes useless. Does not work or charge, outdoor rated.. yeah right… now I’m stuck with a useless camera. STAY AWAY from this camera if you live in Canada and want any form of reliability.

This is a fantastic camera. It records to a micro SD card so no fees to pay. The phone and the desktop apps both work as expected without any glitches. The battery has been at 100% since I pluged the solar panel in. Dependable worry free watchdog for my home. The images are sharp and the tracking works well most of the time. If it is tracking one object (say a car driving by) and a person approaches at the same time it dosen't track the person. There is about 5 seconds between when it detects movement and when it starts recording so something moving fast can be out of the frame before recording starts leaving a blank recording. Other than that the camera is perfect.
