We had a fireplace left in the new house we just got but the remote was gone. I bought this hoping beyond hope it would work, and it did. Replacing the remote was much cheaper than replacing the fireplace. Look in the description to see all the models of fireplaces it will work with. Took me a minute to figure that out.

I really missed having a remote for my bedroom heater. I was having to get out of bed to turn it off in the middle of the night if say a hot flash occured.. Ha.. The original had corrosion from batteries! So so glad to have it back. It's the small things... I have also put a reminder in my calendar to remove batteries in a lot of remotes that I use only certain times of the year.
