No problems.It was a direct replacement for my HP 15-ed 1008ca X360 laptop top cover. There was a tiny little magnet held in a pocket of the old back cover near the left hinge that was not present in the replacement cover. Not sure what it does, but I pried it out and slipped it into the new cover.Have some good two sided tape on hand for the reassembly, and if you want to disconnect the battery before disassembly, you’ll probably need a tiny little torx#0 screw bit to remove a single screw that HP uses on the bottom cover just to make your life difficult.

Correct size and fit to replace the HP top that has all plastic mountings for the hinges. The brass inserts on this new top are much stronger and more reliable than the original all plastic assembly that came with the X360 laptops.
