this item is good. its pretty comfortable hurts a little around the ankle. would i say its worth the price, i would say kinda because there for its a little bit uncomfortable but also protects pretty good. but the shin guard also does move around when kicking so make sure to be careful while kicking.

My daughter just turned 8 and the size Small fits her just right (she is 50” tall). They are easy for her to get on and off quickly without assistance. She initially complained about the top of the shin guards rubbing her leg, but she quickly forgot about that and said they were comfortable after the first 15-20 minutes.

I bought these for my sons Krav Maga and BJJ classes. They fit perfectly and protected him very well. The padding is very thick and sustainable through nightly 2 hour training sessions. A year later, he still uses these as back ups when he forgets/ misplaces his newer set (huge growth spurt and needed a bigger size) When he isn't using them, he loans them to the smaller students in his classes and we've had no issues with putting them through so much use. I have seen a few more pairs pop up around the gym on students whos parents I recommended them to as well, so I believe these are definitely worth a try for young students.
