What fun and a space-saver! This bookcase is just beautiful! It took my husband hours to put it together though because the directions aren't that great. But he got the hang of it and it's a beauty. I loved putting my books in it. It swivels easily, has more space that I realized and is super sturdy, too. I never took time to stain it, but I love the natural oak color so I may just leave it as it is. It's a fun break from the same-old-same-old traditional bookcases we've all had in the past.

Pleasantly surprised! Saw someone using this to store tonies on top and thought it would be a great playroom addition. Really appreciate this is real wood and that they included sandpaper to sand down any rough edges. So helpful as I’m using this for little kids books and toys. Stores a deceptively large amount of books. The wood is untreated so I highly recommend applying some mineral oil to protect it, especially if you’ll have kids using it / spilling things / sneakily drawing on it. Love it so far. Feels very sturdy. Easy assembly, even with two little kids involved.

The perfect little bookshelf for my son’s books! Actually holds a lot of books and assembly was incredibly easy. It is very sturdy. I like the unfinished look as well. It came with a small piece of sandpaper too for any rough edges which was a nice touch!

I was in need of a sturdy bookcase after my old one began to breakdown. Because of this, I was looking for something affordable but made of real wood.I ended up giving this rotating 5-tier bookcase a shot & am so happy I did! Assembly took less than an hour and was near impossible to get wrong. It the perfect size for any space and holds a good amount of books (mine currently holds 118 books of varying sizes with room for about 5 more).Thinking about painting it eventually but will wait until the rest of the room is finished… it will be easy to paint since it is raw wood.No complaints here! This bookcase is definitely worth giving a spin!

I bought one of these for myself, then I bought one for a friend and two more for myself, and I just ordered one more for myself; they are an ideal solution for storing books in small spaces, like in the corner of a room, under a desk, etc. The unit is very easy to assemble (one step in the instructions is not explained well: don't forget to screw in the middle platform after you fit it into the slots!), and I like the fancy doily that comes with it to cover the screws and slots on the top shelf when it's all done. I had run out of wall space for traditional bookshelves, so I am very glad that I found this rotating alternative. The two photos show the first one I got for under my desk and a brand-new one that I just assembled today. I read the negative reviews and they do not match my experience: all the wood was nicely sanded, the packaging was extremely well done (with only a small amount of styrofoam and plastic for the garbage), and loaded up with books, the shelf spins easily and feels very sturdy. Highly recommended.

3 bibliothèques achetées pour soulager des rayonnages qui débordent, vraiment très stables même en 5 étages.les + :- belle qualité, solide- facile à teinter pour ne pas jurer dans le décor- enfantin à monter seul, sans compétence spéciale ni outil (tout est fourni)- permet de ranger des livres de toutes tailles, même grand format- tient peu de place (empiétement approximatif d'une chaise)- ne nécessite aucune fixation au mur donc déplaçable- bon système de rotation de la base afin d'avoir accès à toutes les étagèresles - :- contenance moyenne, en fonction des collections à ranger (d'environ 70 pour des livres classiques, à plus de 100 pour des collections de poche en 4 étages, environ 4 ou 5 livres brochés ou 7 livres de poche par case sans superposition) donc c'est très vite pleinPour la praticité j'aurai préféré des roulettes pivotantes solides.Un bon article pour ranger les piles de livres, surtout si on n'a plus de mur dispo pour une bibliothèque classiqueLivraison ultra rapide (2 jours) et parfaitement bien emballée

Bought this for my twin 3 year old granddaughters. They love having books read before bedtime. This bookcase was perfect for a small space next to the rocker. We can spin the bookcase and pick a different book without getting up or dropping books on the floor. It was easy to put together and is very sturdy. Extremely pleased.

This actually works great for most sizes of children's books, and so far seems pretty sturdy. I was worried it might be a tipping hazard for my toddler before I bought it, but after 1 month of use I am not still concerned. (We put heavier books on the bottom and lightweight DVDs / stuffed animals on the top). If I was really paranoid I might have left off the top shelf, to make it 25% shorter, ( I think they sell a shorter one, too) but so far the 4-shelf version seems to handle daily usage in the nursery just fine.The wood shelves are secured with hex-head wood-screws , tools and gloves are included, and installation went fine except for one very minor crack while tightening one upper side-piece. Overall, tolerances and design seem pretty good for an affordable flat-packed spinning shelf. My kid likes turning it and picking out books to read at bedtime.This books handles ~90% of kids books just fine (Tall ones, short ones, big ones, small ones) However, there is one book shape that it is not good for: Some kids books (like "P is for Pterodactyl) have short heights and really long page-widths. ( approx ~8.5" H x11.25W) . For these books you probably should use a different shelf, because they will stick out too far and fall off easily unless rotated vertically. But again, this issue affects is less than 10% of our kid's books. The good news that it handles even fairly large format books quite well, eg, "Daullieres' Book of Greek Myths" fits fine once the shelf is filled.

This was fun to assemble. It is sturdy and good looking. Fine quality clear pine will need finishing at some point, but no hurry. The rotating stand is nice and smooth.Pro tip - assemble things backwards from the instructions, if you want to see both the spine and the cover of your books. Otherwise you can flip books upside down (to see both), or see the spine and the back (by following the instructions).Pro tip - start and finish the assembly of each piece with the hand tool provided (for alignment and safe tightening), but use a drill for most turning.
