It wasn't too thick or heavy. Our temps have been 7° to 30° lately and I've been warm!!

I needed a puffer jacket longer than one I already had, in a hurry for a trip that was confirmed at the last minute, and I didn’t have time to go shopping for one. This was delivered in a couple of days.I probably could have found a higher quality one for the price, by shopping the outlet stores, but, this jacket will suffice. The length hits me about mid-thigh, great over leggings or pants, and would probably be alright over a knee length wool or jersey dress and tights. Somewhat lightweight, elasticized cuffs and the toggles to cinch the hood will help against chilly wind or breeze. Over a hoody, it fit fine; but, I think it might be a little tight over bulkier layers. I selected this jacket for the inner pockets to help keep my phone and wallet secure, as long as the jacket is zipped up.The lining for one of the outer side pockets was not sewn down properly, so, I fixed that to prevent anything from falling through. The zippers all functioned properly, and it was pretty easy to roll the jacket up into its own bag. Packed, it takes up about as much space as a pair of shoes.In navy, this is a nice break from black, and is one of my go-to neutral colors.I can only give it 4 stars because of the faulty pocket, and it’s not a high end garment; but, otherwise, it’s a nice-looking, decent puffer jacket.

I am going on an Alaskan cruise I don't think this coat would work in Texas winters.It horrible it is so thin.The bag to put in in I think you would rip if you tried to put it in.Its going back.This is why I shop months before So I can weed out the cheap China crap !You shouldn't see the light of a window behind a coat for Alaska.

This review is for the "ROYAL MATRIX" Packable Puffer Jacket for Women Lightweight Hooded Quilted Long Travel Puffer Coat".This coat is surprisingly very warm, considering that it is so lightweight. Comes with a drawstring pouch to store it when not wearing, but I will just keep it hung in the closet. This would be handy for campers or hikers or for traveling to cooler climates.For me, it is longer than pictured in the stock photo. I am only 5'3" tall. So far, I’m really happy with this jacket. It is warm and For the price it’s made of quality material. I was looking for a thinner, but yet warm and effective Jacket and this fit the Bill I ordered a medium and fits great with a thinner sweater but if you want to layer, you might want to order a size up. I am 5’4 ft 160 lbs and ordered a size medium Which fits true to size. I I ordered the navy blue and it’s a bit darker which I really like. I recommend buying this jacket.
