#1 30a plug to 50amp receptacle (4 prong receptacle):Blue 30A plug to 50A receptacle has (4) 10 ga wire conductors. Cord states for RV use only.Be aware! Using this 30A adapter extension cord to power a 50amp device (your RV a/c) could be dangerous and may cause tripped breakers, or worse yet an electrical fire, if you aren't aware and try to draw too much power through it.The reason there are so many plug types is to prevent overloading your electric circuit. This cord allows you to connect a 50 Amp rated device like A/C, an electric range or heavy load of a clothes dryer to a 30Amp power source.Hopefully you realize that your device can draw 50 amps of power and may (likely will) either trip your breaker at best, or at worst over heat inadequate guaged wires inside your wall between the service panel and the outlet, OR Perhaps EVEN THIS CORD.It is only a 4 conductor 10 guage wire. That's why its only rated for 30 Amps. Just Be careful. No sharp bends in the wire and don't leave any portion of any used extension cords coiled up while power is running through it. This creates an electromagnetic effect and that will heat the wires to the point they can melt and start an electrical fire in the cord plastic itself.Otherwise, its a Great 30A (plug end) to 50 amp (receptacles end) adapter 1 ft long. This has a molded (graspable handle) on the receptacle end for safer connections and disconnections.The cord is flexible and has molded ends that connect together securely.The cord ends are molded soft grip-able rubber. Great value over (orange HD and/or blue L) hardware store pricing and they didn't carry anything like this in my area anyway. The plugs are easily gripped and pushed together and this is still safer than running a bunch of orange cords through your house#2 30a plug to 30amp receptacle (slanty eyed face receptacle): Blue Flexible RV plug adapter from rotating 30A generator lock outlet is marked on the cable "For RV use only" both on the plastic tag they attached AND stamped into the 30A wire. No welding on this one guys!30A adapter cord is a well built, very flexible cord made with a 10 gauge 3 conductor wire. It allows you to plug a 3 prong plug into a 3 prong socket. This means the 2nd neutral.lug has NO connection. As such it is not to be used for any appliances that require a separate neutral wire from the ground.

RV Power Adapter Cord 30 Amp Male to 30 Amp Female Receptacle 3 Prong Dogbone Generator Socket with Twist Lock Grip Handle 10AWG/3 L5-30P TT-30R . Is it a good adapter, yes. It has tags on it for ETL, ANSI/UL, and certified to CSA standards. Price is a little inflated, big box store prices are around $10.00 for a similar item.
