I have had two of these -first one made a screeching sound until I squirted WD 40 in it -until it quit being noisy. Really handy to use though- set the pressure and turn it on. My wife liked it so I bought another after the first went missing.

Love this thing! I have a tire with a slow leak. No one can find it for some reason. When temps reach below 0° it always reads low. Bringing this out to pump it up takes a few minutes but at least I know that I'm good for the next week

Excellent! I bought one to carry with me when riding my fat tire trike. We have a plethora of desert thorns so a pump like this is perfect. I worked so well I bought others for my ATV, my F150, and my wife's Tahoe.I use green slime in my tires, which compensates for the thorns, but not without some leakage before it "sets". Smaller portable electric (or manual) pumps have a hard time keeping up with the leaks; my old portable battery-operated would go dry. The Ryobi quickly quickly refills my tires. Even when I got a slit in a tube, I was able to re-inflate my tire every two miles (four refills), barely reducing my battery's capacity. (The rear tires on my trike cannot be easily repaired in the field.)I have several Ryobi tools and several extra batteries. Therefore I did not need to purchase batteries.

Bought it in June 2024. Used it maybe three times. Then...it began making a horrendous sound. But continued to work. Once the tire had been topped off, I tried to turn off the compressor. The internal electronics had obviously fried. It would not turn off without removing the battery. I assumed it might reset...but no. When I replaced the battery, it started running again and would not turn off.I'm a big fan of Ryobi products. I'd hoped this handy little device would be a welcomed member of my workshop family. But instead, I flushed $50 down the toilet.

I have few RYOBI tools with ONE+ batteries and I like the fact that I don't have to charge yet another device and always have ONE+ battery charged and ready to go when I need it. I like the fact that the inflator stops at the target PSI, so I don't have to watch it all the time. Good quality product.
