Great cables for those special situations. I'm running six big subs in a 2 channel room from a preamp that doesn't have enough pairs of XLR outputs. Some of my subs have XLR pass thru, some don't have XLR connections at all. These adapter cables let me get everyone in the pool at once. I use these cables connected to the pass thru XLR outputs on each of my Starke 15s then on into a pair of Hsu VTF3-MK5s that only have RCAs. Had to lower their gain about 20% since XLR is 4 volt standard instead of the 2 volts RCA uses. It's better than trusting a LONG pair of RCA cables on dual 20 foot runs for sure. Also useful if you are wanting to bi-amp a pair of speakers or anything like that. Build quality is great, Audoquest would charge $75 for just one of these.
