This works as specified, however it's built with low quality poly and the lock breaks easily. All in all worth the purchase though.

This cam with the wire cable detached from the part that was supposed to plug into the hard drive. So absolute piece of crap.

TLDR, its probably fine.Trying to add 2nd ssd to laptop. Samsung EVO 850 sata ssd was confirmed working on primary PC. I reseated the cable 2x in case of user error. The cable physically appears to be a match. I checked uefi bios, there were no settings to enable the 2nd hdd.Windows 10 Home > diskmgmt.msc > scan > Windows only sees disk0, the Toshiba nvme ssd from factory. Even used Diskpart command line...Edit: I cant give this a bad review because I tried two other cables that seemed identical and none worked for me. Its must be my mobo. When I swapped memory I had battery flipped when I reconnected it and a trace caught fire. The power going to hdd must be fried because everything else still worked fine.
