These will do the job nicely; from my tube amps, to my (occasionally used attenuator) to my speakers. Probably could have saved a couple dollars going with slightly shorter, but 5ft is a good length.Update, only 4mo later. Went to check connections on a guitar cabinet and noticed it was not fitting right on teh guitar cabinet end, where it'd been plugged in once and left alone; it was drooping. The shaft of the plug part was just loose. Glad it didn't cause an amp of mine to blow up. At least the wire seems good, going to just replace the plug as it's not worth complaining about other than to warn others. Really disappointed to know I can't trust these long-term and will need to check them or replace the ends.
