I really like that this is a different color than the standard red. When I go camping with friends it is now easier to identify my cast iron from other peoples. Fits perfectly and is seemingly unaffected by heat.

I really like how great this item is at preventing the handle on pots be too hot. It’s very versatile and can easily be move from pot to pot. It’s a good size and performs really well. Only downside I’d say is it lbs hard to get it to stay all the real on the handle as it can slip a little.

It fits pretty well and the grip is good, but when my cast iron pan was fully heated on my electric stove I found that I still could not lift the pan up by the handle. It did not protect my hand from the heat enough to handle it without using my oveglove. Enough heat radiated through the layer of silicone to make it too hot. I have noticed that with the small grippers I use for my Instant Pot as well. I think the silicone is too thin.

As long as you don't keep it on the pan if the pan goes in the oven, it works fairly well. If you have a cast iron pan that gets hot for a long time, don't expect it to be cool to the touch. And a bit snug to get on it one of the handles. But fulfills its purpose.

This is a great thing. I was constantly fighting to wrap towels around the handle. Cast iron skillets are hard enough to move around as it is. This really makes life easier.
