I use them for my sublimation business to place hot metal tumblers and glass on when in the cooling down process. They do not melt and my pieces are 385 Degrees.

Love these. They look good, protect your surface and I use them also to keep jars still when opening tough lids.

My love for this silicone trivets is the size and the cleaning! Wash in sink and dry. Large enough to handle all my cooking needs. There soft but very strong can’t go wrong in buying these trivets. I highly recommend buying!

I bought these instead of oven mitts. They are much thinner than expected. The heat comes through. They are ok if you need something to provide a barrier under a warm dish.

I bought these for a different purpose, but wound up using them for the kitchen. We have a glass top stove, which stays hot for a long time. By placing the hot pan (always make sure it's less than 400 degrees) on these pads, the pan and stove both cool off faster. Also they're handy to place under larger hot dishes, like pizza or meatloaf.

I have 3 sets of these in black and very happy with them. I use them as trivets to protect my quartz from heat. I worry because they lay right on the counter with no space at all, but I haven't had any problems so far. Sometimes I put a wire rack over top these trivets just to be extra safe but I may just be worried for nothing. They are easy to wipe clean and to store in a drawer. As long as they truly can protect from heat, then it's all good!

Using as a trivet for ovenware/ hot pots so as not to damage quartz worktop. Easy to store, nice and light, flexible. Feel safe to use and non slip. Have not put in the dishwasher yet, easy to wipe down with warm soapy water. Would recommend

My wife asked for this for Christmas. Six months later, I find that she uses them frequently. They are larger than I expected, but they are not too large to use or store. They are easy to clean: just run them under the sink, or put them in the dish washer. Their heat resistance capacity is so good that we use them interchangeably for hot pads or as trivets. As for maneuverability, the material is a type of rubber that is as flexible as a glove but instead of being slick it has a very good grip. I expect I could put 5-6 soup cans on top of it, and incline it at a 30 degree angle (maybe 45 degree) and it would stay put. It's not "pretty" but it is very functional. I give this 5 stars.

My apartment complex recently renovated my apartment, and installed a glasstop eletric stove. My kitchen is small, and I frequently use the stovetop as counter space when cooking. I'd been putting a towel onto the stovetop to guard against scratching when putting cooling baking sheets, or when needing a resting place that did not involve using the stovetop itself. The towel was not really effective, plus it wasn't heat proof if I needed to rest a hot pan while using a burner on the stove. The mat works great It takes up little space, but keeps the stove safe when I need to use it to hold large baking sheets (I do use cooling racks, of course, but there is so little counterspace that I need additional space when swapping out pans while baking, etc). This was an economical solution that allows me to protect the stove, and because of the mat's size, even permits me to shuffle oven items while using one side of the stove for actual cooking!

Update 2/10/18: I'm back to order another set because I found a way to use them that's VERY useful. I can place cherry tomatoes on them, cover them with a small bread plate, and cut them with a serrated knife. Works like a charm!I've tried cutting cherry tomatoes between 2 plates, also between 2 lids, but they slip and slide around, whereas the ridges on the trivet mat holds them firm. I would imagine this would also work for cutting grapes. Because there's a hole already punched on one end, I can hang it from my pegboard or on a Command hook inside the cupboard door, to use as a trivet or for cutting grapes, so I'm not stuck with a bunch of one-use gadgets taking up space. Really happy with these trivets!Original review:I haven't used these for hot items, for placemats, or tried to put them through a dishwasher, but they're very well suited for my purpose.I was trying to organize my homeopathic remedies and used these to line a set of Iris plastic drawers. The ridges in the mats make them a perfect liner, and there's just enough room in the back for extras of any remedies. I like how the blue shows through the frosted drawers too.I was hoping these would be the nice blue that's pictured, and wasn't disappointed-- they're pretty true to the color shown here. I have included a couple pictures.
