I paid $2.00 each at Walmart a couple years ago, 1 black. 1 red (last they had). This one was way overpriced, but I wanted to have a matching pair ( red). Nothing beats them for getting stuff out of the microwave! Small, has ridges to help grip, and easy on/off!

These are so practical for so many things!I bought these primarily for handling the top shield and butter container on my air popcorn popper. Those get really hot during popping, but the “normal” silicone potholders that cover all 4 fingers were just too bulky for that task.These are also great for pulling the stainless pot out of my Instant Pot! It’s easy to grip the edges and remove it from the base.

Too big for my thumb and not flexible to what I intended to use it for. Best to use for taking out heated plates or bowls from microwave.

My crew is constantly getting hot pans out of drying ovens all day long. These are so much more convenient than pot holders that get in the way and can touch samples. Everyone is pleased with how they work. Can get to samples so much quicker. Well worth it.

I am updating my review. I bought these to help with how hot the plates are at work. I'm a server in dining room. They almost work. They are heat resistant and good quality, however the width of the oval part is too short to carry a dinner plate with one hand, but they work great for a one plate assist. They also work great for pulling hot soup pans from a soup kettle!

These are perfect for getting items out of the microwave when the bowl/dish is very hot. Using a full size silicon pot holder is awkward and can lead to a spill, but these are perfect for just grabbing the edges and getting it out of the microwave! Easy to have nearby, don't take up any space and also easy to slip a thumb and finger into.A handy little helper that no one seemed to think of until now!!

I have been using these for 2 weeks now. These little guys are great!!!! I can go into the oven and have total control over my Casserole dishes, large bakers, pulling out the oven rack, etc. So much better than hot-pads, with all the bulk. These are easy to use and operate. I also do warm up leftover foods on my Corelle. I just grab the plate with one hand, no chance of dropping it or slippage cause of other hot-pads bulk. I will still use hot-pads for some uses. Can’t replace them. But these are great, for so many daily uses. Hand is more exposed, so still got to be careful, but for me you have more control and it’s safer than the different hot-pads out there.
