The package arrived well-packed and secure. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, allowing me to set up the lock quickly. However, I encountered an issue with the latch component during installation. The latch is adjustable to 2-3/8" (60mm) or 2-3/4" (70mm), but the center rotating square part was misaligned. To fix this, I had to fully extend the latch to the 2-3/4" configuration, rotate the square to align it evenly (avoiding a diagonal/diamond shape), and then collapse it back to 2-3/8".When I installed rechargeable batteries, the lock indicated low power, so I replaced them with four fresh alkaline AA batteries, and it worked perfectly. The TTLock app was straightforward to set up and configure. I successfully programmed multiple passcodes, IC cards, and fingerprints, though I needed to be within inches of the lock for a stable connection.The physical key presented a minor issue. I had four keys made, but they didn’t fit properly due to a non-standard key type for North America, according to the locksmith. Filing down the key shoulders was a simple fix. Overall, the lock is great, despite needing to unmount it once to correct the latch alignment. I’d recommend it for its functionality, with a note to expect minor tweaks during setup.

Was easy to understand the installation instructions. Very convenient being able to use a password, fingerprint, an App, keys or key fobs. Has an Type C port for emergency lock or unlock.

This lock might seem like a good deal on paper, but I wouldn’t recommend it. First off, there’s no visual indicator to show whether it’s locked from the inside. You can try the handle and it’ll open, but you won’t know if you just unlocked it or if it was already unlocked. The cards that came with it don’t program correctly either, and I’m hoping it’s just the cards and not the lock’s reader itself.The lock mechanism isn’t smooth, and the design feels cheap. The screws are silver and stand out against the black lock, which just looks bad. The magnetic cover for the keyhole is also a weak point—it’s held by a flimsy magnet with no attachment like a wire or silicone string, so it can easily fall off and get lost. Plus, the keyhole underneath isn’t flush with the lock and doesn’t match the color.When entering the code, the lock doesn’t wake up right away—you have to tap the screen a few times, and by then you’ve probably already messed up the code. And if you enter the wrong code a few times, it locks out, which is normal, but you’d better have your phone on hand to unlock it.The biggest issue, though, is not knowing whether the lock is actually locked from the inside. That’s a major problem. Also, you might find out too late that you’ll need to rearrange the order of your locks because this one’s bulkier than it looks and might block your deadbolt if it’s mounted above it. It looks like a standard deadbolt lock but it’s not.Not worth the trouble.

I had no issues installing this on the door of my apartment. My previous setup was the standard handle on the bottom, deadbolt on top, and I just moved the deadbolt to the lower slot per the instructions, and all was fine. The quality is quite good for what I'd consider to fall in the budget tier price range. The app is a little janky and bare-bones but it works fine for getting everything set up. I've got it set up to open via fingerprint, number code, ic card, key, and app. The only one that occasionally gave me trouble was the fingerprint, but I was able to fix that by programming a bunch of additional impressions (it can store up to 100 fingerprints). I saw one reviewer had trouble using rechargeable AAs--I can confirm the lock did not like my rechargeable AA batteries either. Works fine with the name brand AAs I replaced them with. In terms of security, ya know, unless you're investing in something very serious, or don't mind attaching a bunch of bars and plates on your door, it's pretty hard to keep someone out if they're determined and know what they are doing. This lock is all about convenience and flexibility. The pros here are that it locks behind you, you don't have to fuss with a key if your arms are full, you can grant others access without having to hand out a spare key, and that it's pretty much impossible to lock yourself out. And if for some reason I feel I need additional security, I still have my deadbolt as a backup.

This wont install on a normal North American door with a deadbolt above it. The keypad and backing plate are too tall and require removing the dead bolt and exposing that hole in the door. This only works with doors that do not have a deadbolt installed immediately above them. If being used on a door that's not that way, this should be fine.Other than that, constriction is good. The apps is a little gimmicky but works, the finger print sensor worked reliably, as did the keypad. If you have a door without the conflicting deadbolt I would recommend this without reservation.
