We live in a tropical climate and there are lots of snakes here. I’m a little scared of them and prefer to relocate them when I see them (or rather, I prefer my husband does it!). We got a snake grabber tool recently, and after watching videos about how to use it, I realized we don’t have anything to actually put the snake in after we grab it! Very important!So we got this snake catcher net which will be a perfect complement to our snake grabber. One of us can grab the snake at a safe distance with the tool, and the other one of us can hold out the net at a safe distance to put the snake in. The snake will fall to the bottom of the net and probably coil up there. The net can be cinched up so the snake doesn’t escape while we are transporting it. Then we can open it up, lay the net down, and release the snake (far away from our home!).This snake catcher net seems to be very well-made. Nice quality telescoping handle, ring, and sturdy net. Though I’m scared of snakes, I think I would feel comfortable enough using this snake net. I’ve watched the videos and it looks like this net really works and will keep me safe from the snake. The size and weight of the snake will determine how far I can let out the telescoping handle. I’m so glad we got this net. I feel like we are well-prepared now to deal with any surprise snake visitors around our house!
