For the money, pleasantly surprised and absolutely worth it. I checked the alignment and it was just a smidge off. I didn't need to lap them because they were so close and they were for a budget-build hunting rifle.Had no issue of crushing my scope tube as others suggested. Torque the rings per scope manufacturer recommendation (usually around 18-20 inch-pounds), some lock-tight, and good to go.Metal does seem a little soft and the finish is chinsy, but for the price they're pretty good.Placed on a 308 AR. The 56mm bell of my scope only cleared due to my specific handguard, which has a noticeable "step" down from the receiver. On a flush picatinny rail, these rings would probably clear a 50mm bell with scope cap no problem.

The reason I gave them only four stars is because I find this design sort of ugly. It's a trivial reason I know but why does everything have to be square edged and overly large? If you like this style rings get them as they work well.

Does not fit properly on my picatinny rail system. And the bolt is strip after barely hand tighten.
