Ok this thing is great . We went back and forth on buying due to other outside sources saying it may not work well . IT WORKS GREAT! We put it on a 25 foot sailboat with a 8 ho Tohatsu outboard. We get better control and speed is about same due to a displacement hull speed . Backing up and driving into the wind it is noticeable and makes a large difference as this is our main power plant . The fit was great and very easy to install . Also a great price point as other retailers on line were much more .
