Use it almost every week to scan my work receipts with the feeder. Sometimes it freezes because it cant pickup paper end, but simply press the reset pin and is good again.

I was nervous from the start because I could tell it had been opened previously. The scanner wouldn’t turn on with a 32 GB memory card inserted but would with a 2 GB memory card. The description says it can use up to 32 GB. Also, the document feeder wouldn’t work at all.

I just ordered another one of these; my first was in 2015 and is still going strong. The second is to have one handy at another location. I use it primarily with the sheet feeder to scan notes for archive. And it is a bit unique for these types of scanners. If you leave the dock connected to the computer, you click one button to put it in scan mode. You then feed single sheets, each saved to the mSD card as a PDF (or jpg). Then, press a button; your computer will recognize the mSD card and you have access to the files. Nothing fancy here; but quite independent of any computer side software that ... in my experience, usually disappoints. Now, multiple page documents? I simple use Tracker Softwares PDF exchange, which adds an option to file explorer . Select all files, right click, and select combine. Review the order of the files, one click, you have a multi-page PDF. I have owned several small scanners; but this unit has been the most trouble fee, and most useful.

I like the ease of scanning pictures compared to flat bed scanners, but am a little disappointed in the photo quality. The darker areas of a photo come out as black where as my old printer will produce a brighter clearer image of even darker areas. I have rerun the calibration several times but still too dark and can't edit it out. Good enough for general use.

This portable scanner works as good as it looks. Its purpose is best served for documents that don't require high definition detail. I intend to use this scanner for hard copy document transfer to disk of documents where the resulting image need not be high definition clarity in color. The wand can be disengaged from the scanner base, making this scanner perfect for uploading text documents to disk and eliminating a LOT of paper clutter.

I really like how useful this is; scans books, documents, pictures, etc. I thought the display screen would be great because then I could see the image to ensure it was good enough before throwing away the paper. However, if you are looking at quality details, the small screen and it's zoom function don't really give you the full picture (no pun intended!) Therefore I scan things, then load the JGPs/PDFs to the computer, evaluate, sometimes scan again, and then throw away the paper. A little bit more work than I wanted but for the price and the portability it's worth it.

Works well. Auto feed works wonders for photos. My wife particularly likes the compactness for her use with genealogy.

the micro SDHC as recommended does not lock in place. The scans are horrible no matter which quality you choose.

This is a wonderful little device. We have a scanner on our printer and this little gizmo does just as good as the scanner. I am involved in collecting data for our local historical society and have used this to scan handwritten county board minutes dating back to 1872. Love the portability-I can take it to the court house and scan away. It works very quickly and the scanned items, which are all handwritten, come thru very nicely so that we can track the county history. I have also used it for old newspaper info and old photos. Works great. It is very easy to use and download the information into the computer. Not sure how much it will store. The battery life if great and love that it comes with an AC adapter. This is really well worth the $$$.
