Cover looks great, but lacks the imprint to put the magnet on. My magnet unstuck from the cover and shredded up in my diff! Seal also failed and split after about 3 months. If you buy this cover, consider attaching your magnet with gasket maker inside the diff. Seal shows no failure signs either. One day it was sealed perfectly, next day walked out to this puddle.

Seems like a decent diff cover for the price, gasket that came with this looked cheap so stuck a 10bolt gm felpro gasket on instead, works well and looks good!

Cover and gasket OK quality the bolts seem very light weight and one twisted off when reinstalling it ....... When ahead and replaced all of them with great 8 bolts The other thing to note is it does not come with a magnet like an OEM cover

Fits perfect on my 97 K1500, bolts worked fine and I had no trouble with the rubber gasket(no leaks) this cover is chrome( just as advertised) its every thing the description says, No complaints.

Really did not want a chrome cover, but the price was better than any other I could find. Fit was right, and I finally got the leak to stop. Only four stars due to the chrome finish. Not a fan of cheap chrome parts, and considering this went on my 70 year old mother in law's vehicle. You see my point.

AWESOME! This new differential cover looks great on our chevy avalanche 4x4. Too bad the SAE chrome bolts included are the wrong size, but I figured that going into this purchase. I was able to find the correct metric size bolts in stainless steel and they look fine. The cover fit perfectly and the gasket worked great with no leaks. Wish the chrome bolts were offered in the metric size that most all the full size chevy truck use now.

Had to replace a rusted out cover. Dorman wants 10 dollars more for a black one but the Spectra comes with new gasket and bolts so it's a better deal. Seems like a good quality part but I'm gonna paint it because it's on a plow truck up North so if I don't it will rust in one winter.

Installed on a GM 10-bolt for a 1997 GMC Sierra. The bolt holes on the actual cover are significantly larger than the actual bolts, but the gasket is the same size as the bolts - so when the cover was tightened, the gasket supplied (a rubber gasket) was sucked through the differential cover holes enough to cut the actual gasket at the bolt holes, causing a leak after the first test drive. Upon removal, the bolt holes and the surrounding 1/8'' of metal around them were bent inwards because the holes were so much bigger than the bolts. A Fel-Pro gasket was purchased, and I just refinished the old cover and installed it with the old bolts, no leaks. Wouldn't buy this cover/gasket combination again.
