It fills the gap and leaves a tiny tiny gap. It doesn't sit super flush on the counter either. They are very easy to take in and out, so easy sometimes they come out when you are cleaning the counter. Over all I think they are ok.

This sturdy gap filler between the stove and the cabinet is just why I was looking for. Made of stainless steel it is durable and thick. Too many times I moved the stove to clean and find oils hardened on the side of the stove. Not now. Cleaning is easy because of this gap filler.
