For the second time the bearings in the heater blower motor on my VW Routan decided to go bad. Since the resister is next to the blower I decided to replace both at the same time. This was reasonably priced, was the right part for the car, and arrived very quickly.

If your heater fan stops all together, don't listen to those who say this can't be the problem. Normally a bad resistor is either off or full blast, but at first mine wouldn't do anything. It finally kicked in on full and the new part fixed everything. I would have paid my dealer hundreds if I hadn't given this part a try.
