It pops almost every kennel corn. Easy of cleaning, size and design brings back nostalgia. The value of money is nice but it’s up to you if you want this.

I bought this from Amazon warehouse and it came with popcorn residues inside. Anyway, I gave it a test and is not working properly. The kernels just get burned and did not pop out quickly. I waited for at least 5 minutes. I want to believe that this is a defective item, but to be honest, I think that it is simply not a good choice despite its appearance. I asked for a refund and they asked me to return the item, honestly, the best way to go is to take it to the trash and not sell this to anyone at Amazon Warehouse.

Um... this is amazing. It makes me really happy and I love it. I love that the popper becomes its own bowl. Less to clean! The lid had Star Wars written on it but it was starting to come off and smudge (the heat maybe?) so I just used IPA to take it off completely. You can already tell it’s Star Wars and the lid goes on the bottom when you use it as a bowl anyways, so it’s nbd. It’s the best covid snack and I’ve been stuffing my face with my low-cal popcorn without any guilt. I say get it. And if you’re not a Star Wars fan, that’s okay, they seem to have a ton of super hero characters too! Also, the difference between no name brand and Orvil Reden...blah blah is huge. Spring for the more expensive brand and you won’t regret it. Still only like $5.

The perfect size for one or two people. Gave one to my 13 yr old grandson (he loves popcorn) and it's so easy to use he doen't need any help making his own for his night time snack. I even have one for myself because a normal size just makes too much for one person.

My wife loves R2D2 so this was a no brainer when we saw it at the Star Wars Celebration in March. Since then my wife uses it weekly and often 2-3 days a week and my son loves it as well. The only issue my wife has mention is that the base is hard to clean and takes some effort. Other then that nothing to complain about.

While the marketing is very cute, and it's nice it has a stirrer rod, the cute little popcorn maker takes a long time to pop. I think it must be close to 10 minutes to work. I don't think it gets hot enough. It comes with a little scoop for oil and a larger one for Popcorn seed. I bought a fresh "bottle" of Orville Redenbacher's for it, and used both scoops. It only made about 1/2 the container of popcorn which filled 1 medium bowl (for one person). Not returning them (bought two for gifts) but disappointed in poor performance. My old popcorn maker (with stirring rod) made a large bowl (about 6 cups) in 2-3 minutes and it tasted so much better.
