Simple to use, simple to clean, makes popcorn and does a good job at doing so. Not necessarily better than a Whirlipop, but much easier to clean. Oh, and the one I grew up using is still working roughly 60 years later.

Great for popping popcorn, it doesn't burn and self-stirs with each kernel pop because of it's unique design. I do have an issue with the product, especially seeing that since my purchase the manufacturer feels the product's value is double what I paid. It's flimsy! The lid warps because it's aluminum, granted it needs to be thin and lightweight so that the popping kernels can raise the lid as it finishes popping. Also, whether intentional or not, allowing steam to escape while popping is important so that your popcorn is fluffy-dry and not starchy-damp. Also the handle on the lid is only secured with a single philips (+ style) screw. There's no loc-tite or anything to stop the handle from coming loose, and it does every single time I use it. I've even tried tightening it with my screw driver once. It came loose as soon as I was wiping the oil off with a papertowel. I'm sure a simple lock-washer from any hardware store, placed between the lid and handle will solve this once and for all.Part of my point is, I don't feel the value is there for $46. I searched my email and found: purchase date 2/7/2018 for $21 + $10 shipping, order Q1291 (for credibility that I actually bought this before reviewing), sold by: Quincraft (as shown stamped on the bottom of the popper in the photos here, not sure where "KLM" comes from in the product listing). For comparison, this item does ship free from Amazon, and may be "fulfilled by Amazon" meaning that the manufacturer leases space so that it ships from an Amazon warehouse to get it to customers faster. In the end though, I came here to buy a new one and I'm going to try a different product because of price.
