The mount has promise but the hardware is a total failure. Requires 4 bolts/nuts to assemble (included), which were good quality but too short. No way to make them work so had to dig up longer bolts. Even worse the threads for the suction cups are the wrong pitch for the threaded holes in the metal— no way to screw them in. I’m going to re-tap them since I like the suction cups but the quality control is terrible

This Starlink mini mount is heavy duty with a metal chassis and four large 3 inch diameter suction cups that use a mini pump to clamp down on any non-porous surface. No need to press down on the suction cup, just lay the suction cups flat against the glass surface, apply slight pressure and squeeze the mini pump to suck air out from under the suction cup. Once the pump handle pulls in past the red indicator line, the suction force is sufficient and you can stop pumping.One drawback of this mount is the use of unpadded metal clamps to hold the Starlink Mini in place. This metal clamp does leave an imprint the front side of the mini. It would be a lot easier to remove the Star link mini if the manufacture provided a thumb screw instead of a hex head screw.

After trying multiple mounts to suction my mini to my sun roof, this was the winner by a long shot. Do many of them don’t actually suction but had sticky suction cups and I absolutely hated them. This held up on a 500 mile road trip through the mountains and not once did I need to pump any of the cups the whole trip. Pro tip, keep the little yellow cup protectors for storage when it’s not in use!

I’ve tried several mounts for my Starlink Mini, but this one is in a league of its own. Great for inside use. Outside if temporary - this goes for almost all suction cup mounts though.Functionality is fine as long as you check it every now and then for loss of suction and re-pump. The indicators on the individual pumps are useful for this, but I also mark it with some silver, or gold permanent marker/paint.
