Best braid line I've used over the past 12-15 years. I use the San Diego jam knot for hooks & swivels and a 20-25 wrap Albright to connect the braid to mono. never has me yet. Casts great, lays on the spool well and is my go to for inshore, bottom fishing and tuna fishing. I do suggest for night fishing for tuna, you use a hi-vis line. The dark green is great during the daytime but hard to see at night. It makes it harder on the deck hands to figure out where your line is in the water. Especially when tangles happen.

Don't buy Sufix 832. Line failed twice under very light drag, I don't think the drag would've snapped 4lb test, much less 40lb. It cost my son a 36" red fish and another nice fish we never saw. Line was tied to 30lb mono and the braid just snapped. First time I thought maybe there was some unseen obstruction (Texas grass flats) but the second time confirmed it was just line failure. This was my first and last time trusting Sufix. Unfortunately, I have a 1200yd spool of 100lb Sufix 832 Coastal Camo that I'm just going to have to throw away as I also bought it 6 months ago, but haven't gotten to use it yet.

I decided to give Suffix 832 a try after using power pro for years. I vastly prefer this line to power pro. It has better abrasion resistance and feels much better on my finger when casting. I have never had a wind knot or any random breakage. The line does appear to be thicker diameter than power pro of the same lb test, but that's not really a concern for me. I use 30 and 40lb test to surf cast for striped bass in New England.

I used this line muskie fishing and put it on (3) of my baitcasting reels for a tournament. I am very pleased with the overall strength and ability to cast this line. I will buy it again. Also, for others, I would highly recommend going to a heavier strength line because this line is so thin that you can do so without causing you any casting issues. I used 30lbs test braid and it is similar in diameter to 6lbs monofilament line. I used a 20lbs mono backing and a uniknot to join the (2) lines together, worked great. My only "birds nest" came on the very first cast because I didn't reset my reel for the weight of the lure I was using. After that, it worked great! This was not a fault of the line, rather Operator Error!!
