This shaker is nothing but a decorative knick-knack. Unusable for cinnamon. Top holes too "small" making it difficult for the cinnamon to come out and holds a very minimum amount of the cinnamon. Sorry I bought it. It is in a box going to Goodwill.

Just a pretty piece of nostalgia for me. My grandmother had one similar to this, as a kid putting cinnamon and sugar on my toast was a special treat.

As the other review states it came wrapped in bubble wrap with news paper, And it is tiny but I can live with that my problem was the lid is cheap, it is stamped aluminum and doesn't have a reinforcement ring around the cap opening to keep it's shape. What happens is when you tighten the cap up it flexes and pops off. Every time I tried to tighten the lid up it would start to get tight and then pop off in my hand so I returned it.FOLLOW UP:Seller is super nice! She set about 1/2 dozen extra lids trying to help and out of all the lids only two came close to fitting the rest were so big they didn't even touch the threads. The two that did fit did just like the one that came with it they popped off when you tightened it up . I now am not sure if the design is the problem of if the lids are just a little to big to fit on there, The lids fit so bad I would be afraid to use it because I feel the first time you went to use it the lid would pop off and the contents would go everywhere!!!

Packaged extremely well, arrived on time. The shaker is bigger than I expected. It works wonderfully in my country kitchen. It doesnt seem like the image will rub off. I don't dare wash in the dishwasher though. I'm not sure if it's dishwasher safe. Its better than I expected though.
