As a professional mechanic I'm always on the look out for tools that combine price with durability. This socket is primarily used on Hino trucks, and is as solid as any other Sunex product I've bought, which is to say I'm ordering it not because it failed but because I lost my old one. Nuts to the tool trucks, Sunex is the real deal. If you have any serious work that needs done with 3/8 dr sockets, or any impact socket for that matter, these are the guys to go to if you want to pay a reasonable amount for good tool as opposed to an insane amount for something off the trucks that might say made in China (Looking at you Mac).

This lil' sucker is heavy. It also has the recessed corners so it applies force to the flat faces of the nut or bolt. I bought it to replace the wiper arm transmission on a Saturn Ion using a 3/8'' ratchet. I can't imagine anyone actually needing an impact gun on anything 7mm though.
