If you own a duramax you need this socket, it fits the crank bolt so you can pull the balancer to replace the water pump, also fits your CV axle OEM nuts, buy it now.

I bought this to remove the axle nut from a Fiat 500. They require thin wall sockets. This one wasn’t quite thin enough, I started to round the nut a bit but I got lucky in the end. This doesn’t seem like it’s any thinner than any other standard socket. It does feel like a good quality tool aside from the misrepresentation there though.

Good quality and worked great to remove and replace the axle but on a Range Rover. But was looking for a deep socket and couldn't find one at a fair price so purchased this one plus at short extension. Seems to be good quality.

It worked to get the harmonic balancer bolt off a 2002 LB7 for the water pump install. It survive ~260 ft lbs of torque

Life is a lot easier with a four foot longer breaker bar. This is the right socket to use with a monster 3/4-inch drive breaker bar when you are trying to get those axle nuts on or off. Buy it. You'll like it. As a bonus, you can use it directly with the impact gun.
