Product Description

Gives same climbing height as a 16 ft. extension ladder. The specially designed ladder that is used by military, special forces and tactical squads. Strong, portable, lightweight and non-reflective.

From the Manufacturer

Telesteps are a patented line of Telescopic Climbing products made in our own 500,000 sq. ft. factories by our own engineers and factory team members. We make everything from “scratch” and we do not outsource manufacturing. Telesteps Ladders are OSHA certified, where other brands are NOT! Telesteps products are made from high grade aluminum alloys made from pure ingot, never from scrap aluminum. Telesteps offers the WORLDS 1st fully automatic operational system for extending and contracting the ladder. Telesteps has a patented ""one touch"" release mechanism for retraction making it the easiest telescoping ladder to use as well as the safest. Telesteps employs a Patented 100% Silicon foot that swivels to ensure the feet are perfectly flat on the floor or surface when working on the ladder. Telesteps has locking indicator windows on each rung on both sides giving the user a visual cue that the spring loaded bolts are in locked position and the ladder is safe and ready to use. Telesteps uses Elliptical double pulled tubes for longer life and superior strength and rigidity. Telesteps also uses a DuPont nylon 3000 composite material for the ladder brackets at the sides of the tubes at each rung. This material provides strength and durability to the ladders. Telesteps operational characteristics ensure that whether using the ladder by the foot or at full extension you are doing so safely. Telesteps employs an internal Silicone bushing slowdown system in the tubes so the ladder retracts slowly, safely and easily as you use your hands to guide it down. Telesteps pass OSHA, ANSI 14.2, EN-131 and TUV GS industry certifications. We have extensive in house testing facilities in our factories and are tested by ourselves and Intertek and SGS independent agencies. Telesteps is trusted by the US Military, Swat, Paramilitary and Aerospace industries as the most innovative and convenient ladders in the world providing great utility value for their needs.

I'm an electrical contractor. This ladder is awesome (yes, I know it's expensive :) I had one just like it (same model exactly) for about five years prior to replacing it with this same model. The previous one probably would've lasted longer if I hadn't used it in extremely cold temp's (one of the latches broke while collapsing it :( That said, there are a few things to know about this ladder before you commit to purchasing and using it (I've read plenty of negative reviews where the users obviously didn't understand how to utilize this ladder).....So...... Number One: you can extend it to any usable length by pulling upwards from the top (any section). Number Two: To collapse it, hold the OUTSIDE of the ladder before you grip the latch at the very bottom to collapse it (so as to NOT pinch your hands/ fingers). And lastly.....Number Three: If you are (how shall I put this?) of larger stature/ frame....read the weight limit restrictions before you attempt to use it....Other than that, it's great and worth every cent :^)

I used one at work day in and day out to climb up trees and tall fences....works great, took the wear and tear of every day use very well....it is a tactical latter and eventually it did start breaking down but not before we put it through hell! Also light enough to walk through trails with it...we would walk up to a mile with it to get to the work locations. I liked it so much I bought this one to have at home!

Received my ladder and was impressed with the strength and compact(ness)... but it comes at a trade-off of weight. Not impossible to carry, but it's got some heft to it. Does exactly what I need, only used during times when I wouldn't normally have a ladder at hand.

This ladder is much sturdier than I would expect from a telescoping ladder. Very nice if you intend to use it a lot and keep it for a long time, kind of expensive otherwise. It's also pretty light for the size. The one real design issue is that the rungs can be slippery when wet. Easy to fix with some grip tape but it could catch you by surprise.

Great little ladder for getting into my attic hole Much easier carry in comparison to an extension or step ladder. Easy deployment and take-down . Very smooth operation, Very solid for a telescopic type ladder. THe labeling is a bit deceptive - called a 16' reach ladder, only 12.5' of actual ladder. Good ladder for getting into an attic or atpo a single story house, getting to sill of a second floor window.

Works great until you slip off a rung. Guess no one thought to place a non-slippery surface on the step. And it either expand fully or doesnt work.

Very convenient for use with our 5th wheel RV Toy Hauler. Doesn't take up much room, fairly lightweight to carry, and is sturdy when you follow the directions and make sure all of the green lights are displayed and the ladder is locked in place. My husband uses it to clean off RV roof and slides of camper as well as other miscellaneous tasks. It is a conversation piece and other campers have borrowed as well. Everyone seems to love it. Bought the tactical model because my husband is pushing 250 pounds and this model was rated to 300 pounds. Expensive but has been worth the money and we would definitely buy again!

A roofer came to my home to give an estimate and pulled a telesteps from the back of his truck. He indicated that he had tried many ladders and found none better than the telesteps. I tried his and was sold. It takes up little room when stored, is easy to transport to the work area and very sturdy and safe when set up. Was so pleased with mine that I bought one for my son as a Christmas present.
