The first time you use it, you need to fully charge it. After that, everything is so simple and perfect.

Love this! Bought it for my husbands portable electric wheelchair for traveling and it’s perfect! Size, accuracy, easy to use! I don’t write reviews but this needs one!

To start, I was sent this item by Amazon for review, and I owe no bias to the manufacture. This inflator works better than expected i must say. Up front, people should know this is meant as a back up or emergency inflator and it really should be thought of in that way (reasons to follow), but for smaller jobs it may become very handy. Besides being an inflator, it can act as a power bank (rather big to carry for such a purpose), and has a flashlight feature it becomes a nice set of features to have on hand.As an inflator, it does much better than expected, and I will admit I had low expectations going in as I am used to regular shop air lines. While no where near as fast as a shop air line, it did really well. A nice feature is the ability to set a pressure, start it, and it will cut out when the pre-set pressure is reached.I started with my wife's and my gravel bike tires (700X40) and it took them from about 6 PSI to 60 PSI in about 45 seconds, and it cut out as designed. Next, auto tires (205/70-16). My daughter's car was being serviced (by me) and I went to check her tires (which she doesn't do) and they were all 31-32 PSI when they should be 36. I set the desired pressure and hit go. It only took about 1-1.5 minutes to bring the tires up to the correct pressure, much quicker than my past experience with battery powered inflators. As for the accuracy of the cut-out. After the unit shut off I checked the pressures with a calibrated digital tire gauge (Longrace) I use in racing applications. Generally the inflator over filled the bike tires by about 1-1.5 PSI, and the auto tires were generally .7-1 PSI, not bad at all, and perfectly accurate enough for non-professional (racing) uses.So why 4 stars, well, i wish the air hose was a bit longer. With a threaded end it is not a simple add on to extend the hose length. Also, I would have liked for the tire chuck, which does clamp on just fine could swivel. this lack of mobility with the inflator head and somewhat short hose creates some tension/ twisting. After a bit of use, the device to hose coupling area can get pretty hot, hotter than you would want to hold onto. Normally you wouldn't be touching the unit there, but after use and if the operator wanted to disconnect the hose from the unit for storage, they should let the unit cool off for a couple minutes. Not really a negative, but the charge indicator could be misleading, let me expand. I started with a fully charged unit and when i started inflating a bike tire I lost 1 bar on the charge indicator after 1 tire. This caused me to wonder how far I might get. But then, after 3 more bike tires, and 4 auto tires I did not lose another bar, impressive. So as I said before, this unit is designed (stated by the manual) as an emergency device. But, I do think it is a very handy device for bikes, inflatable sports equipment (balls), and might be a great item to have on hand by any coach. When looking at battery powered inflators, people should remember, as the pressure rises, it will seem to slow down the rate of fill, this is normal and users should not think the device is defective. So, this is a solid unit, better than i expected and it has raised my future standards on what i can expect by such devices. I do believe this will find regular use in my house.
