This is the worst waste of time. Does not have mounting holes for the reported models of Dell. True rating - scam, less than 1 star.

This keyboard is the right size and shape for a Dell Precision 7730. The four cables are the correct size and shape. The factory keyboard has five holes for tiny screws, this replacement only has the bottom three.What makes it impossible to use are the lack of a dozen relief holes that allow pins on the metal keyboard tray to poke through. These are engaged by a dozen pairs of tiny plastic fingers on the keyboard overlay frame. Not having these pin holes, the keyboard bulges above where it should be. The overlay only attaches to the holes on the edges, the pins are covered, so it is also above the desired position, leaving many of the keys flush with the overlay. When reassembled the keyboard works and the lid closes safely, but typing on it feels like running in a kid's bouncy castle.Perhaps this works on the smaller models, but completely inappropriate for the Precision 7730.The picture is the new keyboard installed, the old one is slightly below, with a sheet of paper under it for contrast. The red circles show where a hole is in the factory keyboard, and where it is not in this one.

They keyboard fit and function is fine but it is missing the lighted dot for keys like the microphone button and number lock button. The Joystick button at the center of the keyboard is a bit on the stiff side. The backlighting of the keys is a bit uneven and not uniform.

The advertised picture shows the holes that are needed for it to fit into place. There's supposed to be something like 15-20 holes and, as you can see from my pictures, the keyboard they sent does not have any! I can only put 3 of the 6 screws into it to hold it down along the bottom because it doesn't even have the 3 screw holes for the middle. Not only that, but there's no holes for the keyboard lattice to fit into either so the keys wouldn't stick up above the lattice. Terrible. Doesn't work. Don't buy.
