I bought this ONSUN DC Power Jack Cable 0KD4T9 for Dell Inspiron out of desparation when the computer shop said my computer wasn't worth fixing. Well, to me it was, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. I knew there was a problem with the charging port, because despite a relatively new changer, it was no longer charging. So, without any computer repair experience, I bought this part and prayed. I was able to open up the computer relatively easy and get inside (do not do this with new computers as it voids any warranty.) The power jack had slipped out of place. I supposed I could have just put the old one back, but since I had it open, I unplugged the old cable and replaced it with the new making sure to carefully line it up with the opening slot on the side of the computer. In under 20 minutes, the computer was charging and I could once again access all my data. If you are in a similar situation, I definitely recommend you give it a try.

Product came exactly as advertised and very promptly. Other than having to virtually take the Laptop almost completely apart (power jack tucked in at the back and underneath everything), which took 1 1/2 hrs start to finish, works great and solved the problem.
