I like the idea of soft, flexible and spongey leader/lure spools. These are way too small to be anything other than a child's toy (possible choking hazard). These are probably not what you are looking for. Maybe they would be okay for very small fishing equipment such as sabiki rigs or crappie tackle but they are not helpful to salt-water lines and baits. A #00 Clarke Spoon is to0 large for these spools.

Probably not the greatest option you can buy but they work and they are affordable. I make up my leaders before I go fishing, make a slice In it for the bitter end, jab the other end with the look into it and then put the amount I might need in a Ziploc bag in the bottom of my tackle box. Works great, holds tight.

Fantastic value, great quality, perfect for either holding all your packs of leader (fly fishing) or your pre-tied fishing rigs (for all types of fishing). I'd also recommend getting a T holder on Amazon and you can fit six of these on there (or more, if you add another hair tie). I do wish they would just cut the cost of these in half and sell them in packs of 18 since that's all anybody should ever need...

These are the cheapest option I could find for storing pre-tied leaders for fly fishing. The only thing that stinks is that there is no rhyme or reason to how many of each color you will receive. I received 6 orange, 6 green, only 4 red, 6 blue, and 14 yellow.Still for the price, they work just fine.
