- 7×7 Strand Core Wire Rope: 7x7 construction consisting of 7 groups of 7 strands braided together to form a strong, flexible cable that is superior to other cable configurations.

- 304 Stainless Steel Cable: 304 Stainless Steel is suitable for indoor and outdoor daily use, but not recommended for use by the seaside.
Easy To Install
1/8 stainless steel cable, 1/8 wire rope
1. Wire rope cutter can be cut to the cable length you want.
2. Put the stainless steel cable into the aluminium crimping loop sleeves. Wire Rope Thimbles protect against wire wear resistance.
3. Pull one end of the wire rope, fit and tighten the wire rope and the wire rope thimble
4. Place in crimping tool and press handle until crimping is successful
5. Precise Aluminum sleeve crimping makes the steel wire rope tightly bite together

Sind seit zwei Jahren Outdoor als Rankhilfe im Einsatz, der Witterung schutzlos ausgesetzt ( kein Überstand o. ä.). Keinerlei Rost oder sonstige Verschleißerscheinungen zu erkennen.

One night Wife and I heard what we thought was a bomb going off. Checked around and found a tension spring on one of the garage doors had broken in two. Fortunately the spring flew through the air hitting the wall. Nothing was damaged except for a good sized dent in the plywood on the wall. After that, decided to run wire-rope cable through the garage door springs and fasten both ends firmly in place. Now if any of the springs break, the wire should stop it from flying around killing someone, damaging the cars, or whatever else. Cheap insurance in my opinion. Cable looks very well made. A+++++

I bought this wire to replace my garage door cable that has snapped.I could not get a pre-made wire like those ones being sold online because my garage door made by B&D in Australia has different design from those in the USA where you have this hook on the bottom side of the door panel where you can simply latch on the pre-made wire.With mine I had to cut the wire to the exact length and use the crimping tool to crimp the end of the wire (both ends).This cable works great, easy to cut and the end of the wire does not spread open after cut. Makes it easy to work with. The crimp sleeves that came with the cable works great and fits perfectly.Highly recommended for those DIYer who wants to replace their garage door's cable.

Used this to attach flags directly to my flag pole because of recent thefts and sadly the clamps did not hold up well enough and the wire slipped when the thief took our flags again. Wire is great but would definitely purchase sturdier clamps in the future.
