I have after market towing mirrors on my Chevy truck (twice I’ve replaced the drivers side entire mirror assembly because of careless drivers coming too close and breaking it- thanks Amazon!) but this time the careless driver was me!! I hit a pole with the passenger mirror while backing up and only watching the mirror on my side, the impact shattered the mirror glass without any damage to the tow mirror assembly so I found this glass only repair option. The mirror came well protected in a stiff cardboard package with several sticky tabs for attaching it to the mirror housing plate, and what’s cool is it’s a double sided mirror sheet so it worked for my passenger side but can be flipped and used for a drivers side as well. After clearing off the broken shards and peeling away the old sticky material using a hair dryer on high heat, I used a little brake cleaner to clean up the sticky smudges and de-grease the backing plate. Then I just applied the sticky tabs onto my glass and pressed it into place. I folded the mirror in and jammed a pillow between the mirror and the door window then strapped a ratchet tie down to it to pull the mirror with pressure against the pillow for the sticky tabs to set up good and firm. I left it like that overnight and have had no problem with the mirror since. A good deal that works well.

Easy install. Seems to stick well. It has survived a week of storms. Would buy again if I needed another mirror

Didn't fit my 2001 silverado. Close but not quite right. Had to run it on a belt sander for awhile to make it fit the plastic backing plate from the truck. And even then, the fit isn't great. Maybe it fits good for other mirrors, but not this one. The add description should be updated to specify what it ACTUALLY fits.

The fitment of this was awful, does NOT match the original shape very good at all. Best to buy from another supplier.

Was fearing the worst being a mirror. Came 2 days after purchase. Wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard wrap. Fit the truck well
