Did not fit properly. I had to get it bolted on. They said it was a perfect fit for my make and model and year, Lie.

Got this for my 2009 Sonata, fit perfectly, easy to put together, and connected well with the cables! It overall looks great! It’s good quality, and works just as good! Will keep this one tabbed as a “save for later” purchase just incase I ever need another side mirror!

Now I regret damaging my previous mirror and thus the need to replace it.Clearly this mirror is intended for my car. With the old mirror removed I attempted install this one. This went OK other than the mounting studs seemed to be short, it was difficult to get the nuts started. Speaking of nuts, three new nuts were included in case you happened to lose the old ones. While trying to get the nuts started I remembered the included foam gasket. I assumed the trouble I was having was related to compressing the gasket.I was able to get all three nuts started on the studs and proceeded to tighten them. I noticed that the fit of the mirror assembly on the outside of the door was not great. The plastic seems to be so soft that it does not really hold its shape very well. I figured a poor fit was better than no mirror. As I was finishing up I closed the car door. The whole mirror assembly fell off my door and broke into several pieces when it hit the concrete floor of my garage. Well, not quite everything fell to the floor; the nuts and mounting studs stayed in the door. The plastic is so soft that the process of tightening the nuts pulled the mounting studs out of the mirror assembly. I'm pretty sure that I did not tighten the nuts any more than how tight they were with the old mirror.Cheap, cheap, soft, inadequate plastic was used to make this mirror.I highly recommend that no one should every purchase this mirror. It was a complete waste of time and money. On the positive side, the packaging was very good. I think it need to be in order to avoid damaging the soft plastic.
