Bought another Chineseium brand first. It stretched to the breaking point and failed to pull the hub on my 55 Willy. Bought this one and it worked great.

I can't complain a bit about this puller. I bought a running driving 1956 Willys CJ5 for a project. I'm in the process of un-Bubba-ing the whole vehicle. Seemed to me someone had done all the brakes just befor I got it. New lines, new drums, etc. They chose to rebuild the old wheel cylinders rather than replace them. Drivers front leaked, so I bought a new wheel cylinder. The right rear leaked after I did the front. So I bought this puller so I could do all the wheels. Good investment. The entire hub and drum assembly was done wrong. It's sturdy enough, hefty. I may or may not need it again, but it was well worth the savings in time. I'm happy with it.

This was the tool we were looking for to pull off our rusted boat trailer hubs. This thing made easy work of the issue. Stuck bearings, stuck seals, did not matter... this thing let's you turn the screw and dominate. Boom, hub off.

I used this to break free the rear axle hub from my old willys jeep. These old vehicles (not just jeeps) have the hub torqued on at a minimum of 150LBS. When the hub has been on for decades it takes many hundreds of pounds of torque more to remove it. Without a tool like this it is near impossible to remove it without damaging the hub, axle shaft, or yourself. This tool worked flawlessly and safely, turning a daylong nightmare job into a leisurely 5 minutes of breaker bar/ratchet use. The adjustable legs allowed it to fit my bolt pattern (in my case 5x5.5). It comes with three legs, which was adequate in my case..but with these hubs the more legs, the better...For less than $100, this tools saved many hours of work and possible hundreds of dollars in damaged rare parts....5 stars all the way.

I had a drum rust frozen onto the axle on my 1970 Brazilian 23 Window bus. I had beat it with a sledgehammer, heated it, and whispered sweet words to it but had no luck. Autozone and O'reilly don't rent a puller that's big enough. A buddy of mine had one of these for his Volkswagen adventures so I gave it a shot. It worked great! I thought it might break because I was having to use a 5 foot cheater bar on my breaker bar to get it to move but it worked fine.Couple tips: I had to flip the center ring upside down so it would allow the arms to go wider for my wide 5 lug drum. I didn't get any movement until I consistently tapped the drum between turns. The vibration allowed the tension I had on it make some progress. I had to get longer lug bolts than the stock ones as these arms are thicker than a wheel and you want to be sure to have plenty of teeth grabbing. I used M14 lug bolts off the shelf at Autozone. I told them it was for an '82 Jetta.
