So much better for my lungs and sinuses than turpentine. My studio is off the great room and this product had no smell at all.

Love turpenoid. Been using it for years. Doesn't stink up your studio & works just as good as straight turpentine. It's also fun to use with colored pencil pieces & oil pastels. Great product, fair price, recommend. 😎

As an artist/oil painter, I’m always looking for the least toxic alternative in a very toxic environment.Terpenoid is safe to use in enclose spaces, it doesn’t smell up the studio, it’s excellent for cleaning oil paints from your brushes.

I repaired an oil base painting. As a kid through an adult I occasionally used turpentine, could not stand the smell and the after aroma for weeks. I stumbled on this in my retirement years when I had to repair an oil based painting. This was a unbelievable product, effective to work with without the Oder.

You don’t want to use real turpentine anymore because it’s bad for your health. Now, the best thing for thinning oil paint and cleaning brushes is Turpenoid. The choice of the odd word “Turpenoid” was a mistake, as it sounds if though the product is fake turpentine and far inferior to the real thing, which is not the case at all. This is not akin to “Dimonique” or “Golderino,” or the like, as promoted on QVC as a dubious alternative to the genuine article. Turpenoid - as unsavory as it sounds - is an excellent necessity for every artist. Vincent van Gogh might not have died at 43, had Turpenoid been available in the time, and had he used it instead of Turpentine, which he sniffed and sipped while he painted. Even though Turpenoid is much safer, do resist the urge to consume it, no matter how desperate your circumstances. And, of all the Turpenoid available today, Martine F. Weber is the best of the best. A quart will last a long time, and is well worth the price. This is still flammable, so don’t smoke around it or let sparks or fire get near it.
