I have only used this fishing reel a few times it started out ok but the drag now doesn't work at all and I can't get it to cast at all so its pretty much just junk......not happy

I read some reviews that say that the reel was not engaging or not engaging properly. I have 6 SC10 spincast reels & was starting to have the same problem but I did a saltwater cleaning & lubrication; now I do not have any problems with the reel. I use the reels for freshwater fishing. I took off handle & filled the inside with WD-40. Let excess lubricant out & wiped off reel with rag. Put handle back on for no problems.

This thing casts great.. but after 20 or 30 , line jumps spool and wraps around shaft...shearing line. Removed 20 feet a few times..now it's going to scrap. Same happened to SC 6. Both hitting the scap bin. Do not recommend wasting time on these reels.

I love the reel, casts very smoothly and pretty far.My only disappointment was that it said for both right handed and left handed, but when you switch the handle over to the other side then you have to reel backwards, that's not how it should be.You should be able to reel FORWARD from both sides.Unless I'm missing something.

My reel had been spooled incorrectly from the factory had to pull it all out and respool the reel.

said they have a 7-year warranty, but you only got 30 days to return I haven't used it but once now button is broken or was already broke when I got it

This reel works great but ended up with larger size than I expected. Kept it and used for surf fishing.

Would use it more. Tried to adjust drag and the dial wont move. Tried to reel in a small catfish and the drag would go and go.

It was awkward at 1st as the button was a little stiff but after doing it a few times, it was easy to use and normal. The casting is good as well as the line flew out far, which I liked. I had a big catfish on the line, easily 15 plus pounds and the 20 pound line that came on it did not hold up (snapped) however I should have used a net vice trying to muscle it to the rocks (user error on that one). Overall I love this reel so far though.
