Roller/skids themselves are great, I knocked a star because none of the included hardware worked with my craftsman snowblower. Luckily I was able to reuse my stock hardware. Been meaning to upgrade to a roller style for eyars now as the standard skids wear down and then end up wearing out hte metal scraper. Hopefully the wheels will stop that.

Easy to install, easy to adjust height. All parts needed were included. I installed a set on my Arens Deluxe30. My snowblower has Arens “Auto-Turn” technology and these wheeled skids are a perfect marriage to make it even easier to steer than when it had brand new OEM steel skids.

When using the snowblower, the left wheel keeps unscrewing and falling off. Tried several tightness and left it lose, but still falls off. Would not recommend.

Love the idea, but after 2 one hour useages, I lost a wheel and end bolt and one of the wheels developed a flat spot and does not roll well if at all. Now it's a skid wheel! Used blue threadlock on both bolts to keep them on. A metal wheel set would be great.

Once I installed the guide shoe kit I was able to push and pull the snowblower with 2 fingers. This kit makes it so easy to maneuver the snowblower. The only issue I have with the guide shoe kit is that the mounting hardware is to large for the holes in the machine but I was able to use the original nuts and bolts . I would recommend this product to all my friends and family

Had to file the oversized slots even more to the inside edges to accept the center-to-center bolt pattern on my Poulan Pro snowblower (same as Husqvarna & Craftsman). The hex nuts Rub against the wheel and I was unable to use a ratchet socket and resort to an open end wrench which I had to turn sixteenth of a turn at a time. The hardware included did not fit (too large). I used old existing hardware instead.

The only problem I had was that the snowblower I had, used 5/16" carriage bolts to hold the slides to it. This kit uses 3/8" carriage bolts. Got out the "dremel" tool with a carbide bit and enlarged the square holes to the bigger size bolts. Once that was done everything fit good. After I ordered these, it quit snowing as much, I haven't been able to use these to remove snow yet! I works great running on the bare concrete. Don't have to fight it at all like you do with the steel skids, or slides constantly grabbing and wanting to turn when they hid the dry concrete patches while you're using the blower. Anxious to try it, if and when, we ever get enough snow to use it!

Since these aren't terribly more expensive than regular replacements, I decided to give them a try. And, so far, I'm glad that I did.Don't let the fact that these are a polymer composite instead of steel scare you away. They're a very high density polymer that doesn't seem like they'll deflect or lose their rigidity. They come with one set of wheels already attached to the plates and a spare set of wheels with hardware. Here's where they really shine though, they're going to greatly reduce the amount that the snow blower scratches the pavement/ concrete and also greatly reduce how much the blower jerks from side to side when one side is on top of snow and the other is on dry pavement. This combined with the fact that these won't grind down like all steel skid shoes will keep the long scraping edge along the bottom of the auger housing in better shape for longer. If like me, you have a bad back or shoulder, this will make the blower easier to control with less side to side jerking. Or, if you simply want to avoid leaving big scratches in your driveway or sidewalk, you may want to give these a try.
