My old furnace board shorted out on the back side because there was NO PROTECTION, and very little clearance between it and the blower housing!!! What a very poor design! Word of advice - if yours is similar, remove and insulate it somehow (tape?) before this happens to you! This new replacement is set in a plastic box that makes it impervious to this ever occurring again (THANK YOU)! Follow the instructions for a flawless installation experience. WAY cheaper than calling a technician.
