The problem is that the main housing is off a little and the alignment cam pins are kinda flimsy. I had to buy another set of timing tools because after I installed a new timing chain, I was getting codes that the timing wasn't right. After buying another timing kit, everything worked out perfect. I hate doing a major job twice

I did not like the fact that I could not use it, because the wholes didn’t match on the cylinder head to secure the bracket tool. I’m planning on doing some adjustments to make it work

The pins on the front part of the tool for holding the camshaft wheels in place need to be deeper. You'll need to hold them in place while torquing down the VANOS on each camshaft. Other than that, pretty good set for the price, and the case is VERY nice.

Cars now a days are a nightmare to work on timing chains/belts specially BMW’s. This tool works flawlessly! No issues whatsoever. Finished the job in about two days.
