- 1. Instert the 303-1530 through the hole in the top of the mega cap
- 2. Compress the secondary timing chain tensioner and install the 303-1530 in the rear of the secondary timing chain tensioner guide. Position the Chain Tensioner Hold Down Tool against the mega cap to retain the tensioner in the compressed position.
- 3. Perform service to secondary timing chain as required to vehicle service manual
- 1. Rotate the engine to No.1 TDC
- 2. Install the 303-1248 on to the flat the camshaft.
- 3. Perform camshaft service as required.
- 4. Refer to the vehicle service manual for the correct camshaft to cranshaft timing procedure.
- Note: The camshaft holding tool will hold the camshaft in the Dead Center (TDC) position.
- Material：High standard structural steel with good mechanical properties, solid enough and resists rust with black oxide finish.

- Use the camshaft holding tool to hold the camshafts in the Top Dead Center (TDC) position, Insert the chain tensioner hold down tool through the hole in the top of the mega gap and position it against the mega gap to retain the tensioner in the compressed position.Helps ensure vehicle maintenance accuracy and protection.
- Use this tool to accurately position and align hold for Ford 3.5L & 3.7L camshaft at TDC to perform service.

Not worth buying, Rotunda OEM tool works perfect, even if the price is lower, tool is useless, and could cause damage to the engine if you rely on the tool holding the cams in place and it pops off and the valves get nicked. Only use OEM, this is not the only set I have used from Amazon that didn’t work. Amazon is great! Just some of the venders they use are no good.

Do not buy these. Have a 3.7 and the do not fit. We’re cut too small. Waste of money
