Looks cool but the reticle won't stay on your selection when powered off - totally lame. Also, the shake-awake feature does not work. Mine wouldn't hold zero when exposed to recoil forces - probably best use is airsoft. This is not a sight for life-saving or defending use, IMO.The best part of this thing is the adjustment tool - coolest one I've seen and it went right into my range bag for frequent use. Very nice packaging but conflicting info in the user's manual.

Built sturdy. I received the updated model. The changed the protective cover to extend more and a few other things. There is a noticeable halo effect around the red dot even in daylight. Reflections were also an issue in low light. It shows the optics sensor in the glass. My guess is the front glass coating is off and with the size of the window it reflects internals. Solar is definitely strong enough to power the dot. Wish there were more reticle choices.I can’t speak to it holding zero as it was an easy return. I gave it two stars because while build materials is nice. It fails at what it is suppose to do be a clear red dot. Seems like it didn’t go through testing especially in various lighting scenarios.

This is a really big sight in both size and weight, but I found it to be good quality. It is really squared off, but it does have a really large window/lens. The sight features four different reticles and multiple brightnesses. As with most sights, the top brightness settings are a bit much. The dot is 3 MOA which is my preferred size. I appreciate that it features shake awake, although that seems to be becoming the norm. The lens is shrouded which is especially helpful during bright, sunny days. The biggest complaint I have is the battery compartments. They are a bit finicky. It's kind of hard to get them open and closed. I like that the rail is quick release. If you have pop up sights, this is really quick to take off - simply pop the lever and pull it off. All in all, this sight is large, and the battery compartments are a little finicky, but it's a solidly made, good quality sight.

I got the multiple reticle option, and it seems to work quite well. Overall the build quality on it seems GOOD, not incredible, but seems like quality that I would rely on for sporting. It's made out of fairly thick metal and otherwise overall high quality parts and seems to be assembled quite well. It has very simple controls, comes with a novelty little allen key for adjustments, and is well packaged. In terms of form factor it's not the lowest profile red dot out there that's for sure, but this is just about perfect for an AR-15/M4/M-16 type platform. That said I was a bit confused when reading the manual why the manual which came with mine states that it is intended for handguns, can't imagine why anyone would use this on a handgun, but gonna assume that's a typo of some type. Also a bit bummed out that the multiple reticle option does not also have solar functionality, as the combination of the two I think would take this to the next level but, as is it's still a nice item. In terms of visual clarity, it's decent. Price point at $259 seems a little steep but not out of line with the quality provided, I would just shop around a bit before buying.
