Before using our outboard hydraulic steering kit, it is necessary to fill it with oil and purge any air. If performance decreases or response delays, check the hydraulic fluid and conduct an air purge. We highly recommend consulting and following the user manual.

Install was pretty easy, works great, after bleading system of air, 3 1/2 turns in either direction for maximum turning radius effortlessly. Installed on 1994 18' Star Craft w/ Mercury Force 75 HP

Bought the system for a 90 hp installed and bled the lines, seems to be good until you actually use it, then one whole turn of free play be fore it responds. Took it to a boat mechanic, checked for leaks and he has bled it twice and the same thing happens. Tried to get ahold of someone at the company and unable to so far. Poor customer service.
