I wanted to take a moment to leave a quick review for this bag. I own way more expensive leather bags, and this bag is my favorite. It also happens to be the perfect size for 80% of my photography needs. I keep my Fuji XT4 with the vertical battery grip with a 27mm, a 16-55, a 50-140 and a Westcott FJ80 or a specific lens ( the 50 or 90 for portraits). I have space for filters, white/gray card, etc. The leather has held up well, after many outings it has started to develop a patina. Love, love, love this bag. Would buy again.

I love the high-quality look and feel of this bag! And the thoughtful note from the craftsmen/women who made the bag just added to the premium experience. It's perfect to grab and carry my Canon R5 with 3 essential lenses when I don't want to pack my larger backpack (30L Peak Design Everyday backpack). In a pinch, I can pack my R5 & R7 bodies in this messenger bag with up to 4 lenses if I have to, although it's a little snug. There's an inside pocket for a tablet, but it's too small to comfortably fit my 12.9" iPad Pro with a case. You could probably fit a smaller iPad in there, but I really don't use that pocket for anything. It has 2 outer pockets that have plenty of room for spare batteries, filters, etc., and the nice zippered pocket on the back side holds your phone and wallet, or misc. small accessories. My main complaint (a tiny quibble) is that the inside fabric seems a little thin and doesn't hold the Velcro dividers as well as I'd like; I worry about long-term durability of this, even though the leather bag itself will probably last forever! Also, one of the front buckle latches has come unsnapped a couple times, but maybe I just didn't have it fastened completely. Will see how these latches hold up over time. Overall I highly recommend this bag and would buy it again!

This is my second bag from Basic Gear. There will likely be a third. They are both patterned after “Ona” brand bags, but at a fraction of the price. I also have an Ona, so I can make a first-hand comparison. I am very pleased with both BG bags. I received this bag in December and traveled with it over the holidays. It was perfect in the airline, fitting under the seat with no problem. I carried it around for a week photographing wildlife as well as a day in a large city. It is comfortable, durable, and elegantly made. Currently it contains a full-frame DSLR with battery grip, four lenses, batteries, charger, filters, an iPad and a film camera body. There is room to spare and the interior is fully customizable.

Started taking pictures for Wedding's and this bag will be Stunning on my arm. The bag is roomy enough for my 50mm, 85mm and camera body with 35 mm lens. A zipper compartment on the outside that is substantial, as well, as two full sized areas inside for batteries, memory cards, and your necessities needed. The leather is from Buffalo hides, very unique. The price was GREAT as well! Great investment!!!
