Did a ton of research on different lenes for my Lumix g100 camera and to be honest it is a game changer for a newby. I don’t care that’s it’s heavy since I’m sit and shoot mostly and the quality of video is phenomenal. I originally rented it and when I put it on I was so happy I bought it and the 15mm. I have the lumix lenses, Sigma, and this was for me the best lens for a beginner for video and image quality

Voigtlander makes wicked products. This lens is absolutely fantastic. Sharp as a tack, sturdy, and a silky smooth focus ring.

Very good lens, I like them so much I bought them all. I now have the 42.5, 25, 17 and 10.5 mm They are all great and I like the rendition from them.So it's not as sharp on the edges, well it's sharp enough for me and it's just what I want. In my opinion these are better at least for me, the rendition has it.Just what I needed.

This is the best wide angle lens (also, the best lens) that I have for my BMPCC. It has the characteristics that I personally loved.

The lens is as sharp as the other lenses I have (olympus pro 2.8 12-40mm and olympus 6.7 100-300mm). Plenty sharp, but even with focus peaking it can be tricky to get the focus perfect at night. I used this for video outside at night and it kept up with what my eyes could perceive really well. If you push the settings on your camera (mine was GH5) you can see better than the human eye and still have 25 frames per second video. The focus ring is perfect- very smooth and you can dial in the focus with precision. If you're getting it for astrophotography, the manual focus is waaaay better than taking 5 minutes bouncing back and forth with fly-by-wire focusing of other lenses. You can get really sharp stars even wide open, but there is quite a bit of coma noticeable anywhere outside the center 10%. At f/0.95 there is no need to go past ISO 1600. I found that 20 seconds at f/0.95 and ISO 1600 was almost too many stars. 4 second exposures, ISO 1600 will get you more than you can see with your eyes. They say it's heavy and they aren't kidding- it feels like a solid cylinder of glass. Boke is good, for micro four thirds. The photo below was f/0.95, ISO 3200, 2 second exposure.

I love the images I get from my Voigtlander lenses... I own the 10.5mm & 25mm. I use them on a Panasonic GH4 to film both narratives and documentaries. I was hoping to use the 10.5 on a Came-TV Single but have found it way too heavy for most small single handed gimbals to handle... I get a lot of gimbal shake even when perfectly balance. I've gone back to using my Panasonic 12-35mm for my gimbal.

this lens its amazing, it cut my exposure time in night photography considerably, now I can shoot at iso 400 instead of 1600 that everyone else was shooting at. Sharp for landscape photography.

This thing kicks butt, and you can get amazing photos and video with it. It fogs up easily though, so be careful in humid climates.
