These scope rings are made in the USA. They work well and are a good value. Strong enough to hold tight on heavy calibers. Be very careful though when installing the six steel screws into the aluminum threads of the lower half of the ring. Overtightening will cause galling. An Allen style wrench is provided and if you use only as much force as can be applied by hand to the short bend of the wrench you should avoid stripping the threads.

Rock solid rings. They did need to be lapped. Other than that, I have no issues with them.

I needed to replace the rings on my rifle with higher profile rings after installing a Voodoo Tactical cheek rest. So far its a perfect match for height and bolt throw. I haven't been to the range to re-zero my scope yet, but since I had lower profile Weaver brand rings on before, I have every confidence that these will perform as well as the other ones I had on did. These rings are very "beefy" looking, they just look like they are meant to stay put. They fit very snug and tight on the rail as well as on the scope tube, they just seem to be a very high quaility product. So far, I highly recommend them. I would also highly recommend "Project Guy"s review of the Weaver 1-inch extra high tactical rings. He goes into detail about the actual measurements of the Weaver six hole tactical ring series. His review was immensely helpful to me in determing the height of rings that I needed.

These are definitely not Badger Ordinance rings, but for my needs, I do not need anything of the kind for this application. I have a couple of sets of Badger Ordinance rings on a couple of .308s. I have these Weavers mounted on my heavy barrelled AR-15 and will hopefully be able to try them out soon. I was pleased with their fit and appearance and will buy more should I need them for any of my other rifles. Six screws each was just slightly unhandy, but really no big deal if you just take your time.
